Well, life is funny.
After procrastinating about birthing this podcast, I thought I would give it one more test. So, a few days ago, I sent "one more test" to myself ... or so I thought. Within minutes, this not-quite-finished first episode was in hundreds of inboxes. Wrong button. No way to get it back. All I could do with sit there, a bit deflated about my podcast's one chance to make a great first impression.
And really, I know better than to assume that the perfect timing is the timing I planned. Life knows better, too.
In the spirit of still allowing myself a bit of launching excitement, I will now hit a virtual drum roll, and announce that here it is: My Essential Happiness Podcast. My vision is to, once in a while, pop up for just a few minutes and share with you some stories, mine or others'. Really, just show up into your life , and leave it just a bit better than I found it.
And if you have any idea, suggestion, questions, cool people I should bring on the air with me, please please let me know!
Also, as I did quite a bit of learning before I embarked into this, I learned that if was important to ask my listeners to subscribe to the show on iTunes and to leave a review. So, if you are up for that, I would love it.
And with no further delay, here is our Episode #2.
This Episode is about a little girl who did a whole lot of growing up between school and home, one day. It's about a loss of innocence - and about learning how to stay true to our own colors, even when someone wants to smear dirty paint all over us.
I hope you enjoy it.

"I think I love you. You bring good things into my life, or remind me of things I love and know, but have let go of."
"Thank you so much for who you are and what you share with the world. Your mere being transforms lives as it has transformed mine. This particular post did to my heart what water does to parched soil."
"Thank you for your gentle words that are packed full of wisdom. I have been struggling with the concept of what words can do to another person when they are negative words. Your words are the flip side of our word power, and shows how delightfully powerful kind words can be. Thank you."
"Once again Laura Lavigne takes you on an adventure of the heart. She has a way of pulling you right in the car with her. Asking you to consider changing a fear to taking thoughtful action. Whether she's teaching a class, leading a retreat or heading for a happiness sprinkling, Laura will invite you to shed old ways of thinking and be completely authentic. Join in!"
"Essentially pure love.
I enjoy how Laura is kind to herself and to us other humans who dance in and out of each other's lives. "
"Don't miss an post!
You can count on Laura for warmth, humor, charm, and a lift to your day and your heart. She inspires me to be braver than I am, and to love the world out loud. She's a gem, and a generous one at that!"
