Colors are like vitamins for my soul.
I am not a great artist, but I know that my art touches hearts.
So, I keep creating.
My process is very similar to the way I live my life:
I experiment, I start something with no clear plan as to how it will end - I love the Essence of Adventure - I ask "mistakes" to show me what their Gifts are, I start all over once it's clear that the joy is not going to come out and play, and mostly, I TRUST. I trust in the co-creation process, I trust in the twists and turns and I trust in being guided to something much better and much bigger than I could have cooked up on my own.
Also, colors are like vitamins for my soul. They uplift me, they ground me, they energize me, they soothe me. They feed me. Words matter tons to me and whenever I can, I combine the powers of colors and words together so that the two swirl around our brain and envelop us with their essence.
I sometimes spend weeks painting nothing but hearts because that what wants to show up (during the Summer of 2020, I was unstoppable. I wondered what I was going to do with all these hearts.... When November came, I sold them to buy tulips to give away to people for Thanksgiving.
Art to Heart.
Right now, I painting VW buses because they delight me (and because I want one) and creating mirrors that remind people that they are beautiful.
Next, I am not sure. But it will show up. It always shows up
