Following a conversation with a friend last night, I decided to ask here “what was the best part of today?” before going to bed. And many answered poured in. Many recollections of sweet, simple, small moments.
I believe that celebrating these sweet and small moments is what puts fuel in our tanks. When I was in a Italy a few years ago, my son and I would walk home late at night (sometimes past midnight) and invariably the corner gelato shop was filled with people of all ages licking tiny cups of delight while taking and laughing and very obviously enjoying the moment. I believe that celebrating these sweet and small moments is what puts fuel in our tanks. I believe that years of late night gelato licking with friends is what inspires balcony singing with strangers when the s*** hits the fan. Celebrating sweet and small moments might be just a great complement to washing our hands. And we can do that. Love, Me
