Thank you for when you said nothing when you so much wanted to speak. Thank you for the things you have created this year and thank you for the ideas you have chosen to let pass. Thank you for the colors, the tastes, the sounds. The advice, your ear, your shoulder, your glasses of cold tea. Thank you for coming into my life and thank you for gently leaving it. Thank you for telling me what you needed and letting me give it to you. Thank you for the good mornings, and the nights-nights. The checking-in phone calls.
