2018 will mark our sixth year sharing the joy and beauty of La Manzanilla with very special people, and each year we are more and more awed by the Transformation that takes place during that one big week.
Between the Beauty of the place, the Ease, Warmth and Authenticity of the people who live there and the power of being together for a full week, learning, stretching and growing as a group and individually, magic is bound to happen.
In addition to the time you spend in class, and by virtue of the affordability of life down there you will get to experience yourself as greatly Abundant. There is something about amping up this particular Essence which is very important and affecting. As a few example, a nice dinner will rarely cost you more than $10 and you can definitely enjoy plenty of yumminess for about $3. One of the best massages I ever received cost me $25 – including a generous tip!

In a crazy beautiful setting, while we have a really great time and while we eat delicious food prepared just for us, I am going to guide you in making the changes you need to create a vibrant, authentic and fully engaged life. A life where you wake up in the morning full of quietly excited anticipation, where you experience and share joy throughout your day and then go to bed at night, bathed in a strong sense of peace. A life where, because you are able to, you contribute to those around you.
And because working on our life is really great but PLAYING and BEAUTY and FUN are really important too, we are going to do this in a beautiful place, by a gorgeous beach, with our own swimming pool, in a wonderful little fishing town, and hanging around way cool people.

La Manzanilla (which means chamomile) is a sweet, rustic, safe and calm fishing village, about 40 miles south of Puerto Vallarta in an area called Costa Alegre, which means Happy Coast (yep, yep).
Most breakfasts and lunches – as well as our welcome dinner - will be prepared for us at home.

THE COURSE
During our time together, I will share with you my “Essential Happiness Program.”
The course is designed to challenge you as well as support you. Throughout the week, you will be guided towards discovering (or re-discovering) a new level of intimacy with your authentic self. You will be given simple yet powerful tools to help you create a life that lines up with that "true you."
Increased levels of Creativity, Self Expression, Joy, Connection, and Calm Power are the by products of this intensive course.
Note: several of the techniques you will learn can easily be shared with other people in your life, something which we encourage.
We have made sure to create a balance of class time and “play, rest or explore” time. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to walk around with our group or go out on your own, if you’d like.

As always, Carol Miner will be by my side as “Happiness Support Specialist” to make sure all your needs are addressed. Carol will take care of anything you may need in the world of Retreat logistics (travel advice, local information or a Tylenol).
OUR HOME Located in a quiet Canyon just 10 minutes from the beach, we will stay in a beautiful new villa overlooking the jungle. The house has a traditional Mexican open plan living spaces (with lots of stairs), a big outdoor dining area and a separate thatched roof palapa next to the pool area and terrace. It is a few minutes of walking to the beach and the village. NOTE: it is on a hill and with a big view. I am mentioning this because the kick butt view comes with a kick butt walk up to the house. We may puff a bit but once we get there … the pool will be waiting for us. |
TUITION
Your $1,800 tuition includes: - My full “Essential Happiness” course, with a couple extra surprises - Seven nights in our beautiful Mexican villa - Homemade prepared breakfasts and lunches on class days, and two dinners Mostly, it includes TRANSFORMATION. The most direct route is to fly to Manzanillo Airport (ZLO). Manzanillo Airport is approximately 45 minutes south of La Manzanilla. Then you take a taxi from the airport. Taxis are approximately $50 USD each way (often split between guests) and there are plenty of taxis available as you exit the airport. There is no direct bus service from the airport to La Manzanilla.
