Meet WOA. The Women of Anacortes
In the fall of 2023 Lisa Rhoades and I committed to celebrating twelve of the extraordinary women from the island we both love.
I would paint from Mexico and she would pretty much organize everything else from the island.
She and I had never met.
On March 8 2024 we simultaneously and unveiled the twelve portraits in the midst of a standing room only love-fest.
Lisa continues the WOA project, celebrating and supporting Ancortes women.
