There is something deeply satisfying for me, in the simplicity of seeing a problem and addressing it. It just makes my soul tingle and light up. Especially when the process is clear, simple, joy filled and drama free. Especially when there are gifts awaiting us in the journey - and really, aren't there always gifts? In this short video, KarmaTube shares a great example of such a process, a great inspiration. How does it work?
Step one: See a problem. Something lacking, something not quite right, something that does not make sense. Step two: Ask the people in charge the most direct question. Step three: Make a move. Even if you are not sure how the whole thing will unravel. Just make a move. Here's to reminding us of our Super Power, our Power to make someone's day. XOXO Oh, and I really love this one sentence: "every one knows I go to a warm bed every night and they still love me." She walked into the Ballroom just as I had gotten off a difficult phone call, and was waiting for my next client to arrive. I had never seen her before. Petite, pretty and fairy-like, she was holding a bouquet of twelve deep red, velvety roses as she made her way towards my desk. I got up, met her half way, and she told me that she wanted me to have these flowers. "But, you don't know me... " I said. "No, but I want you to have them" was her answer. And then she added: "You can give them away, if you want. One at a time, or all together, or you can keep them." I told her that I would really love to give them to my next client, the one who was on her way here, if that was okay with her. I knew that she could very much use a dozen red roses, right about then. She gave me a smile, her blessing, and a hug. After she left, I put the roses in water, and with my nose buried deeply into the bouquet, I let the Essence of the gift swim through my heart. I took it in all the way. Five minutes later, when I handed them to a beautiful, tender woman, I knew that the gift had been multiplied several times. I believe that these roses are not done giving. Take a look at the photo and help yourself. I am pretty sure they were meant for you, too. |
